My niece Tabatha and her husband Pete have gone to the hospital to deliver their
son. Please praise His name for the blessing He has gifted our family and ask
    for a safe birth.

Jesse James Lueck was born at 1:22pm today. He weighed 6lbs 1oz, and is 19.5
inches long. What an amazing blessing to be present at the time God brought him
into the world. We are so happy and pray that the Lord will come to him early in
his life and that he will walk a Godly path.

update, Jesse is on oxygen because of the hypertension meds his mother Tabatha
was on before his birth. He's having difficulty breathing, eating and sleeping.
So please lift him in prayer, my fellow kononians.

Please lift my friend JP Speers in prayer. He has recently had surgery for
Crohn's disease and he is currently on the mend. However he has a very tough
time being still so he is struggling.

Joshua, Marilyn Vyzourik's son, is in Intensive Care at Penrose Main. If we
could get him on the prayer line that would be great. His lungs have an
    infection. Thank you Debi Blanchard

  •  –  For: healing and guidance - By: Wendy Ruuamau - On: Mar 7, 2010 7:30:34 AM
Please pray for me on Monday. I will be going to University Hospital for
surgery. I have to be there at 6:30 AM and I think my surgery will start at
8:30. I am a little nervous but that is just the unknown. I know that the Lord
will send angels to surround me and protect me. I also know beyond a shadow of a
doubt that He love me. I also know that I love you all completely. God be
    blessing you!!! Love! ~Wendy

Please join me in prayer for all our Koinonians who are struggling in their
fight with the enemy. Dear LORD Allmighty hear these prayers for all those
fighting addictions, lies, gossip, lusts, fears and all other evil creations.
God, you are the light upon our feet. In you alone, may we all place our lives
    in your trust. Amen
  •  –  For: The Lord's peace for Shawna - By: Chris Malloy - On: Jan 29, 2010 8:56:33 AM
Brothers and Sisters please lift Shawna from Liza's Place in your prayers. At
4:30am Jan. 29 after fighting 5 months to maintain the pregnancy she miscarried
her daughter. May the Lord fill her heart with peace beyond all understanding
    through this heartbreaking loss.
    •  –  For: The Lord's peace for Shawna - By: Chris Malloy - On: Feb 25, 2010 9:58:27 PM
Please lift Shawna in prayer. She was in a minor car accident today and it was
the straw that broke the camels back. It would seem that everything she has been
walking through this past month caught up with her and she is really feeling
hopeless. Please pray that the Lord of Peace will reveal himself to her.
  •  –  For: provision for a job - By: Anonymous - On: Feb 24, 2010 5:27:47 PM
Please lift our sister Jennifer Young SCK20 in prayer. She is currently seeking
    employment.
  •  –  For: Roman and Family - By: Claire McTiernan - On: Feb 20, 2010 8:27:12 AM
Roman Juarez called me and asked for prayer for he and his family. His 25 year
old nephew, Nigel, shot himself. (It wasn't an accident.) He was declared brain
dead yesterday and they were waiting for the whole family to get there to say
good bye. Please lift them all in your prayers.

    Blessings, Claire
    •  –  For: Roman and Family - By: Chris Malloy - On: Feb 23, 2010 6:39:55 PM
      Hello,

Roman called again. He said that Nigel had been very healthy and was an organ
donor. His mother agreed and they were able to help 7 people (2family
friends/relatives) with transplants from Nigel. Please continue praying for all
      of them.

      Blessings, Claire
  •  –  For: update on prayer request for Eric - By: Kris Pancoast - On: Feb 4, 2010 7:48:03 PM
My mom, Marlene Huska, and I would like to thank you so much for your prayers.
Eric had his surgery Wednesday and everything went very well. They removed the
whole thyroid and all the lymph nodes. To the eye the lymph nodes looked fine.
The biopsy results should be back in a week and if there is no cancer in the
lymph nodes he will need no further treatment for the cancer. He will be on
thyroid medicine for the rest of his life, but that's a small price to pay for
having a life to live! Christine Pancoast

For: healing - By: Anonymous - On: Jan 31, 2010 5:01:24 PM My mom, Marlene
Huska, and I would like to ask for prayers for my brother Eric. Eric will be
having surgery for thyroid cancer this coming Wednesday, Feb. 3rd. We are hoping
that the surgery removes all of the cancer and that he won't need radiation
treatment. Eric is married and has 2 kids ages, 3 and 7. Thanks, Christine
    Pancoast
    •  –  For: update on prayer request for Eric - By: Chris Malloy - On: Feb 19, 2010 8:08:38 PM
The results of the biopsy were not what we had hoped for. They removed 18 lymph
node and 2 were cancerous. Eric is scheduled to see his endocrinologist on March
18th and they will decide at that time the next course of action. The doctor
wants to get his thyroid levels stabilized before they proceed on to the next
step. It will most likely be a radioactive iodine treatment that will require
isolation for a couple days and isolation from his kids for up to two weeks
after that. Please pray for wisdom for the doctors and healing for Eric. Thanks,
      Christine Pancoast
  •  –  For: Job Situation - By: Ramona Carmichael - On: Feb 12, 2010 9:20:11 AM
My first retreat was SCK-18 and I was on team for SCK-19. I was hoping to come
to SCK-20 and have invited several others to SCK-20. I was let go from my job
Tues 2/9 due to the economy not improving and them needing to cut expenses. I am
single and my resources are depleted. Now I don't feel I can come to SCK-20. God
has protected and provided, and I am grateful. God knows my needs and is
faithful. I just hate having to be looking for a job AGAIN (many times since
    9/11). Thank you.
  •  –  For: Kristin Spakes - By: April Lemmons - On: Feb 10, 2010 9:47:08 PM
Dear Koinonia Family,   Please pray for my God Parent's daughter Kristen
Spakes.  She is really going through a deep struggle right now.  She has a son
and the father remarried and is trying to gain full custody and take the son
away.  She has had a lot of financial struggle as well as alcohol.  She is
severely depressed right now and the family is even worried about suicide.
Please keep her lifted in prayers.  My mom invited her on the Koinonia weekend
and she has not returned any phone calls.  We don't know if this is the right
timing, but would covet your prayers for kristen.

    April Lemmons
